The Department of Veteran Affairs Denver Office has an annual Homeless Veterans Stand Down where they link homeless vets with community services, medical care, and donated clothing and supplies. They did not have an official method of printing temporary ID cards and had been using MS Word template that led to inconsistent photo placement. I developed a C#/WPF app that sped up production and standardized the output but do to security restrictions of the computer I had to move the solution to PowerShell where I utilized .Net APIs from the script and in-memory compiled the C# for my pan-zoom control

Access Database

Regis University's Veteran Office needed to track statistics on how many people were using services to justify their existence. The original solution created by the University required volunteers and work-study students to directly edit an Access database after every call or email and to manually enter study lab sign-in sheets. This solution logs office interactions via email and phone to the access database using APIs from Lync andy Outlook. The application ran in the system tray and popped up when a call or email came in and would populate name, phone number, and email fields if the number matched a contact in the global address book. An additional application was created for a tablet kiosk to replace the sign-in sheet
